Frequently asked questions
What to know before you buy
The answers are short and straight. If yours is missing, the bottom of the page says where to write.
What is a carnet, exactly?
A wine-road itinerary, day by day: which wineries receive visitors, when to arrive, where to lunch, where to dine, and the real drive times between stops. We drove every road and knocked on every cellar door before writing it.
The carnet reads on a private page and prints to PDF. One-time purchase, no account, no subscription.
How does the free day 1 work?
On every carnet’s page, day 1 reads in full, for free, before you buy. You know exactly what you are getting before paying: day 1 of the preview is day 1 of the full carnet, word for word.
How much does a carnet cost?
The first travel day is €19, each day more is €10. So a one-day carnet is €19, two days €29, three days €39. That is all: no hidden fees, no subscription.
When do I get my carnet?
Immediately. After payment the full carnet opens on your screen, and the link and PDF arrive by email within minutes. It is an immediate digital delivery — which is why the 14-day withdrawal right is waived at purchase (this is written in the terms and repeated before every payment).
How does the séjour at Les Capucins work?
€150 a night for two, with breakfast and one carnet de route included. Dinner — the €75 tasting menu per person, wine pairing €25 extra — is served Monday to Friday evenings.
You pick your nights and propose your dates; the hotel confirms within 24 hours. Les Capucins sits in the heart of Belfort, under 2 h 30 from all three regions.
Can I give it as a gift?
Yes. A bon cadeau, for a carnet or a séjour, takes two minutes to compose on the “Gift” page. The recipient gets a printable coupon and chooses their dates whenever they like.
We are driving — what about the wine?
The carnets are written for small tastings: two or three wines per winery, a spittoon on every counter, and stops spaced for water and food. Designate a driver who does not taste — the roads are beautiful sober too. And if you sleep in Belfort, the séjour settles the question: you drive the next morning.
Alcohol abuse is bad for your health. Please drink in moderation.
What if I want to change the route?
The carnet is a plan, not a contract. Each day lists more stops than fit in one: skip what does not tempt you, stay longer where the wine is good. The drive times given are real, so you know what every change costs.
