In 2026 the village market runs every day from 27 November to 23 December, then 27 to 30 December (closed 24–26 December). The stalls circle the castle square, and the cellars around it keep their doors open — ask for the Pinot Gris.

Electric bike ride to Colmar

Instead of the 20 min drive, follow the flat road out of Eguisheim by e-bike — hire in the village and ask the shop about leaving the bikes in Colmar. Glove weather: only worth it if the sky is clear.
